PAN-Disability Football Sessions

October 1, 2019 Jim Green

Chester FC Community Trust is launching its new PAN-Disability Football sessions for youngsters aged between 7 and 16 next week.

The inclusive sessions will allow young people with learning, physical or sensory disabilities to play football, develop their skills and make friends in a fun, safe environment with FA qualified coaches.

The Community Trust is aiming to create two new teams for U16s boys and U16s girls to represent Chester FC in the Cheshire Ability Counts League.

Sessions will take place weekly on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6pm at Goals Soccer Centre, beginning on Tuesday 8th October. The cost is £4 per week with the first session free for new players.

Jim Green, CEO of Chester FC Community Trust, said: “We are pleased to be increasing the opportunities for youngsters with a disability who have a passion for football to play the game.

“The sessions will help to improve young people’s skills, increase their confidence and to support them in reaching their potential. We would encourage anyone interested in taking part in the sessions to contact us.”

The new sessions have been made possible thanks to a grant through the Grow the Game scheme, which is funded by The Football Association and delivered by the Football Foundation.

If you would like to make a donation to the Community Trust to help towards the costs of its disability football sessions, you can do so at www.justgiving.com/chesterfc-communitytrust.
