Chester FC PDC summer programme openings

May 29, 2018 Jim Green

The Chester FC Player Development Centre (PDC) summer programme begins next week with a limited number of places available for new players.

This popular programme launched in 2016 and aims to provide increased opportunities for talented young players to train in a professional environment designed to help them reach their potential.

The PDC operates on an invitation-only basis with players continuing to train and play for their grassroots clubs while attending our programme based on The FA’s four corner model and Chester FC Academy’s development principles. The PDC incorporates a games programme and provides a route into the Chester FC Academy for players who display exceptional ability.

The summer programme runs over 10 weeks from June until August and is based on 3G pitches at The Cheshire County Sports Club and Blacon High School. Sessions take place on Mondays for U6s, U7s, U8s & U9s, and on Fridays for U10s, U11s & U12s.

The following places are currently available:

U6s (Year 1) – Full to capacity
U7s (Year 2) – 3 places
U8s (Year 3) – 3 places
U9s (Year 4) – 6 places
U10s (Year 5) – Full to capacity
U11s (Year 6) – Full to capacity
