Chester FC Community Trust has received a Magic Little Grant of £500 from Localgiving and Postcode Neighbourhood Trust, a grant-giving charity funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The funding will be used to support the Community Trust’s Chester FC Mental Health & Wellbeing Football project, which provides two sessions a week for men and women who have experienced a mental health problem.

The project aims to reduce social isolation and offers participants opportunities to make friends and keep fit in a welcoming environment and talk about their problems without stigma, seek advice and access additional support.
