Chester FC Community Trust is recruiting two part-time Youth Workers to help set up and manage a new Youth Hub for Blacon, which will run on Friday evenings at King George V Community Sports Hub.
With the support of our partners and stakeholders, we want to create opportunities for young people within our communities that will inspire change and improve their lives. We are delighted to have secured funding to establish a new Youth Hub for Blacon for an initial period of two years, with the ambition of this becoming a permament provision thereafter.
The Youth Hub will offer young people in Blacon a comprehensive, varied and fun programme of sport and engagement activities in safe, inclusive space. These roles will be responsible for the design and delivery of these sessions, and general administration, monitoring and evaluation tasks.
We would love to hear from individuals with a youth work qualification, experience working in community settings and a good understanding of children and young people in Cheshire West, who are excited by this opportunity and the chance to support young people in Blacon.
Appointment will be subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and a full UK driving licence would be an advantage.
In return we offer a competitive salary, Chester FC uniform, support with CPD and training, company pension scheme and a great opportunity to take on a key role within a successful club community organisation.
