Talented young female footballers can now sign up to be part of the relaunched Chester FC Girls Player Development Centre.
Designed to bridge the gap between the grassroots game and elite football, the Girls PDC is run in partnership with Cheshire FA and supports The FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway with progression routes for those of exceptional ability.
This season’s new-look Girls PDC will operate for U10s, U12s and U14s while U16s will be given the opportunity to train alongside the Chester FC Women U18s squad.
The programme aims to help young footballers reach their potential through the provision of quality coaching and additional playing opportunities.
Players selected for the Chester FC Girls PDC continue to train and play for their grassroots club, and will take part in a 12-week programme based on the The FA’s four corner player development model.
The centres are based on 3G artificial pitches and feature a games progamme of fixtures and festivals against professional clubs and academy teams.
This season’s Girls PDC programme will run on Mondays and Thursdays as follows:

Blacon High School, Melbourne Road, Blacon CH1 5JH
