Summer is here, and Chester FC Community Trust is ready to help children and families make the most of the school holidays with an exciting programme of football, sport and free community activities across Chester.
Whether your child loves football, wants to try something new, or you’re looking for fun, affordable activities close to home, there’s something for everyone this summer.
With activities taking place at Goals Chester and King George V Community Sports Hub, our experienced and qualified staff will provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment where children can stay active, make new friends and create lasting memories.
Our Summer 2026 Programme Includes:
Football Holiday Camps
Our brand-new Football Holiday Camps, delivered in partnership with Goals Chester, provide the perfect opportunity for children aged 6-14 to develop their football skills, enjoy small-sided games and have fun throughout the summer.
Running throughout the school holidays, the camps are open to players of all abilities and include opportunities to learn from FA-qualified coaches in a positive and inclusive environment.
Children can enjoy extended camp hours from 9am to 3pm, with paid places available for just £20 per day. We also offer HAF-funded places for eligible families.
Healthy Holidays Supported by MBNA
Thanks to the continued support of MBNA, children can access these free holiday camps that encourage them to be active and make healthy choices.
Sessions include football, multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, healthy meals and enriching activities designed to keep children active, engaged and well-fed during the school break.
Free Summer Holiday Activities in Blacon
Families can also enjoy a packed programme of free activities at King George V Community Sports Hub throughout the holidays.
From sports and games to creative workshops and family activities, there’s plenty on offer to help young people stay active, socialise with friends and enjoy their summer in a safe and supportive environment.
