Chester FC Community Trust was thrilled to host the inaugural Passion for Learning Sports Festival at King George V Community Sports Hub this week!
The event offered children from local schools the opportunity to find out about the array of sports and physical activity available across Chester and Cheshire West, giving them the chance to have a go at lots of different sports, and learn about equipment, clubs, nutrition, and fitness through fun, interactive sessions.
Chester FC players Connell Rawlinson, Harrison Burke, Nathan Woodthorpe, and Charlie Caton dropped in to meet the children and talk about their own sporting journeys, while mascot Lupus was also on hand to entertain.
Based in Ellesmere Port, Passion for Learning works across the local area, promoting and supporting the enrichment, education and mental wellbeing of children and young people to motivate, empower and enable them to fulfil their potential.
The day was a huge success and Chester FC Community Trust wishes to thank Passion for Learning for inviting us to be part of such a fantastic event.
