EET Fuels has awarded Chester FC Community Trust a grant of £1,000 from the ‘100 Grants for 100 Years’ fund celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex.
Formerly Essar Oil UK, EET Fuels owns and runs the refinery near Ellesmere Port for a century and launched the £100,000 fund to give back to local communities that have supported the site for a century.
The Community Trust will use the grant to sustain our junior disability football programme, which supports children and young people with learning, physical or sensory disabilities to play football, develop their skills and make friends in a fun, inclusive environment. The weekly sessions take place on Tuesdays and anyone interested in getting involved can email community@chesterfc.com for more information.
On behalf of everyone at Chester FC Community Trust, thank you to EET Fuels for supporting our work and congratulations on 100 years of manufacturing at Stanlow!
