As part of a pupil-led local schools forum, Chester FC Community Trust has been supporting and facilitating ideas raised by young people to improve their community.
Youngsters from primary schools including Newton, Hoole, Upton Westlea and Acresfield came up with suggestions to make their communities greener and cleaner, with their chosen idea being to organise a community litter pick at Lime Wood Fields.
The pupils have been hard at work making a difference this week and thanks to their efforts, the popular park is now looking much nicer for visiting children and families.
On behalf of everyone at Chester FC Community Trust, we’d like to congratulate all of their participating schools on their outstanding work and we have thoroughly enjoyed being apart of this journey with them.
