Chester FC Community Trust have launched rebranded Chester FC Girls Football Centres to encourage more girls to take up the sport with weekly sessions in Blacon and Ellesmere Port.
Chester FC Girls Football Centres aim to inspire girls to play football through fun and engaging sessions to develop fundamental skills, build confidence and make new friends. All abilities are welcome – from girls taking their first steps in the sport to those who already play for teams and wish to improve their game.
Chester FC Girls Football Centres run in Chester on Monday evenings at Blacon High School from 6pm to 7pm and Ellesmere Port on Wednesday evenings at Ellesmere Port Sports Village from 5pm to 6pm.
Open to girls aged 5-11 of all abilities and levels of experience, the sessions cost just £3 per week and there are progression routes to community clubs for those girls who wish to play in matches.
Chester FC Girls Football Centres are part of Chester FC Community Trust’s commitment to support The FA’s objective to double girls’ football participation by 2020.
