Chester FC Community Trust is asking Blues fans to donate to West Cheshire Foodbank and help local families and individuals in need this Christmas.
During the month of December, the Club and Community Trust will be collecting donations to support people in our community who are in crisis as demand for emergency food unfortunately continues to increase.
Donations can be dropped off at the Deva Stadium and King George V Community Sports Hub on weekdays, and will also be accepted at the home matches with Gloucester City on 2 December, Brackley Town on 5 December, Tamworth on 9 December and Boston United on 16 December.
Donated items will then be delivered to West Cheshire Foodbank, who estimate they will provide over 1000 Christmas food parcels for local individuals and families in crisis in the three weeks leading up to Christmas.
West Cheshire Foodbank has provided the following list of items it needs most this festive period: Christmas sweet treats, tinned meats, tinned veg and potatoes, coffee, UHT milk and juice, tinned fruit and custard, biscuits, crackers, jams and sweet spreads, any other tinned food, and meat and fish pastes.
For further information or to arrange making a donation to the club’s collection outside of the times listed above email community@chesterfc.com.
