Chester FC Community Trust is pleased to be hosting Squad Girls sessions for girls aged 12-14.
Squad Girls is a programme created by England Football that offers fun, non-competitive football for girls aged 12-14.
Whether you’re completely new to the sport, are looking to transition from Weetabix Wildcats, or simply want to give it a go, Squad Girls is designed to help develop skills and build confidence, whilst encouraging girls to play their way.
Each session is centred around a specific theme, including everything from building team identity, to mastering technical skills. To keep sessions interesting and on-theme, sessions are broken down into warm up, first half, half time, second half and cool down, and can include a mix of both walking and traditional football.
Squad Girls is a casual and flexible football option with players able to attend as many or as few sessions as they wish.
Squad Girls sessions will be on Fridays at King George V Sports Hub from 7pm to 8pm for girls of all abilities aged 12-14. The cost is £3 per week.
