Improve your health and wellbeing with Pilates

Chester FC Community Trust invites you to join our new beginners Pilates classes, based at King George V Community Sports Hub.

Taking place on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm with our instructor Angela, these inclusive classes aim to make Pilates accessible and affordable for the community.

Starting on Tuesday 6th June, the pay-as-you-go sessions are £2 and places can be booked by emailing mark.eastup@chesterfc.com in advance.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise which aims to help with postural alignmen and flexibility, while also strengthening muscles. It can be done with or without equipment. The movements are usually slow, specific and involve a lot of breath work. Pilates focuses on the core, but will also work your hips, legs and back.

What are the benefits of Pilates?

Pilates has lots of benefits, which include increased flexibility, improved strength, mobility and posture. It also helps with stress management and relaxation.

Who is Pilates for?

Pilates is accessible for people of all ages. These classes are open to anyone aged 16 or over, however those under 16 are also welcome to attend with an accompanied an adult.
