Chester FC Community Trust is excited to announce a fantastic programme of FREE summer holiday activities in Blacon for boys and girls aged 5-15!
From sport and dance to gaming and circus skills, there’s something for everyone, with all sessions taking place at King George V Community Sports Hub.
Thanks to support from Blacon councillors, our summer holiday activities are completely free to attend too. All places must be booked in advance as spaces are limited. Bookings can be made online.
Summer Activity Programme
Circus Skills Workshop
Monday 3 August
2:00pm – 4:00pm
Join professional circus performer James Bazley to learn exciting circus skills in a fun and supportive environment. Expect juggling, spinning plates, stilt walking, unicycles and much more!
Dance Workshop with Cheshire Dance
Thursday 13 August
2:00pm – 5:00pm
Get moving with an energetic dance workshop with professional hip hop and contemporary dance artist Max Ashbrook from Cheshire Dance.
Gaming Workshop with Adaptive Gaming
Monday 17 August
4:00pm – 6:00pm
A unique gaming session designed to be fun, inclusive and engaging. Experience the latest consoles and retro games with music and lighting that takes gaming to the next level.
Game On Football with Chester FC
Fridays 7, 14, 21 & 28 August
5:00pm – 7:00pm
Our qualified Community Trust coaches will lead fun football coaching and small-sided games, giving youngsters a chance to meet up with friends, keep active and improve their skills.
Rugby League Coaching with Chester Gladiators
Wednesdays 5, 12, 19 & 26 August
5:00pm – 6:30pm
Try the fast and exciting game of rugby league with experienced coaches from Chester Gladiators. These fun sessions will focus on core skills, giving children the chance to experience a new sport!
What You Need to Know
• All sessions are FREE
• Open to boys and girls aged 5–15

• Children will need football boots or trainers for outdoor sessions, a bottle of water and weather-appropriate clothing
