Chester FC Community Trust is seeking enthusiastic and committed Community Coaches to support the delivery of our exciting summer programme.
Working across our popular holiday football camps and community activities, successful applicants will help deliver fun, safe and engaging sessions for children and young people of all abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for coaches looking to gain experience within a professional football club charity and make a positive impact in the local community.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The successful candidates will possess a minimum FA Introduction to Coaching Football qualification (or equivalent), with UEFA C (FA Level 2) desirable. Applicants should also hold valid FA Safeguarding Children and Emergency First Aid qualifications, or be willing to obtain these prior to commencing employment.
Previous experience of coaching children and young people in school, club or community settings is desirable, together with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work as part of a team.
This is a casual role with hours available throughout the summer holidays, with opportunities for further coaching work across the Community Trust’s expanding programmes for the right candidates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver high-quality coaching sessions as part of the Community Trust’s summer programme.
• Create a fun, safe, inclusive and engaging environment for all participants.
• Adapt coaching sessions to suit different ages, abilities and needs.
• Support the planning, preparation and delivery of holiday camps and community activities.
• Ensure the welfare and safety of all participants by following safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies and procedures.
• Complete session registers and any associated administration as required.
• Act as a positive ambassador for Chester FC Community Trust at all times.
The successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
